Enjoy our exciting new season
Welcome to Elixir’s 15th season of presenting gems of the chamber music repertoire! Our concert season will open with a special event – a lecture/presentation of a new quartet by Saskatoon composer Daniel Regnier! In the new year we will be performing famous trios by the prodigies Mozart and Mendelssohn, music that still inspires listeners centuries after their first performance. We will transport you back to Paris at the turn of the 20th Century with a dreamy Fauré trio and the virtuosic and magnificent Ravel trio that promises to bring Ravel’s brilliant orchestral colours to the concert hall! In addition, a trio by the celebrated American composer Lowell Liebermann will lead us into realms of the imagination. Enjoy the wonderful acoustics of Emmanuel Church in the centre of Saskatoon’s Broadway cultural hub! We hope you will be able to join us for this exciting season!

Special Event - Trees by Northern Waters
Elixir presents a new composition for piano quartet by Saskatoon composer Daniel Regnier!
Daniel will introduce his composition with a lecture on the inspiration for his work. This will be followed by a live performance of the quartet with special guest Sarah ter Velde, violist.
